Cats + Numbers = Party!

Hello Again!

I'm here with another fun tag project for Lost Coast Designs
This time I want to share my tag that I made for the June numbers challenge over on our "Portal to creativity" challenge blog! The link is in the side bar  (If you haven't been there yet you really need to Hop on Over and check it out!!! There are some awesome prizes, challenges, and inspiration!!)

Start with a #8 tag (or what ever the XL-large tag size is lol) Paint or ink it yellow and pink (I used distress stains). Allow to dry.
On a separate piece of paper stamp your kitty HERE in black ink and your party hat HERE in Black ink and i did the 2nd one in Kaleidacolor "Caribbean Sea" but and blue/ green would be good :D  I then used the same blue greens to sponge color the party hat and kitty (i used a make-up sponge). For the second har i used my pink stain. I cut them all out then set them aside.

Back to the background... I used 3 stencils from TCW, 2 were grungy looking ones and one was clocks... I added numbers and circles using the black and pink dylusions paints and I added a few more circles with some blue paint to pull things together.

Last I glued my little kitty and hats on and there you have it one fun ready to party tag!!

Thank you Again for joining me in sharing this fun inspiration and don't forget to check out the new challenge on July 1st!!!

Its that time of year where every commercial and ad is reminding you that Fathers Day is right around the corner (June 21st if you aren't in the USA).
So, today I want to share a masculine greeting card and a "Postage people" postcard. :)

(I have been wanting to make a "postage person" for a while now after i was inspired my my amazing friend Annie check one of hers out HERE (2nd card down... and it lives with me... hehe) and check out her other amazing work while you're there! Her mail art is AMAZING)

Ok, so lets start with my favorite the "postage people" postcard...

If you'd like a video tutorial on this on comment below and I will work on it, I have one more of these postage stamps :D  Ok, now for the card, for this i wanted simple and masculine so here it is...

Time for a Tag

Hello Again!

It's me Tera here with another fun and SUPER EASY project for Lost Coast Designs
This time I wanted to play with my tags...

I started with some card stock that was painted green (using the new Dylusions paints...yes they are magical and play well with my stamps hehe..)
Next I stamped the text background in black ink (only partially inked to get a distressed look). While that dried I inked up my winged creature "Adrien" (LOVE it you can find her HERE) and stamped her on a scrap of green and yellow painted card stock. I went back to the tag and used one of the Tim Holtz stencils to create the coffee ring stain ad splatter with Black Dylusions paint. Finally I cut out my winged creature glued her in place then cut the overhang wing off to add to the upper left corner,

(Who doesn't love inspiration and Prizes all in one place?!?!?)

Thank you for checking out my work, I hope you are inspired to get crafty :D

Skellie-Fest is on!!!

Today I want to share an ATC I created for the Skellie-fest hop with Lost Coast Designs/Carmen Veranda and Smeared and Smudged. If you hop over to the LCD blog and enter our submissions using LCD/CV stamps there is an AWESOME $20 gift certificate you could win!!!!

Who Doesn't LOVE MORE STAMP MONEY?!?!?!?

For my ATC (artist trading card) I used 2 different stamps combined to create this fun creature, I used the skelliton Head (set found HERE) and  a creature from the "mini flying ladies" set (found HERE)

The background of the card is from a larger piece of  card stock i painted with Dylusions paints and some white Dylusions spray splatters. The Qoute is a Teresa Collins Sticker :D I shaded with pan pastels and that was it simple and cute!!

Catching up on Some Mail

Ok I'm TRYING to be better at posting again.. (however I can't make any promises since school started back up June 1st) But today I want to share one more envelope that went out :D

Hopefully she's received it before this post goes live ;)   hehe
I'm really trying to shrink the ever growing pile of envelopes on my desk and get them to their owners... Yes that means sitting still long enough to write a letter or short note to put in them....

Ok enough Yapping here it is :D More to come soon...
