Saturday Silliness!

Hello all, and i hope you're having a wonderful Saturday! 

I know I am! I've been doing the VLVS blog hop, and enjoying a relaxing morning!!

Today i'm going to share a sneak peak at a surprise for one of my moms friends that i made. (if i show any more she may know it's for her! ) 

In other News: 

Yesterday i FINALLY created a Facebook page Just for all of you who want to see my crafty endeavors, so be sure to check it out and "Like" us to see all the happenings! 

I'm considering hosting some local Scrapbook Kit style party's!

 (the ideas for this are still in the works, but i know it will be fun!!) 

I'm also still working on getting everything dialed in and running smoothly here, Facebook, twitter, my Flickr, and a few other places! I've learned so much already and am really excited with how things are coming along!! I hope to have more craft updates, tutorials and maybe even a give-away coming up soon!!

Peek of My Craft room

Hello everyone! Well i have been  working on getting my craft room organized, so this is what it looks like so far! I wish i had taken a picture of it before, but it was a mess! All of the white cubes are new to me, i bought them from a lady whom was going "digital"... I am so excited to have them!!! 

I can't wait to get everything completely organized... I might also join the WOYWDW (whats on your work desk Wednesday)

 Ok, well now that you have seen most of my crafty space i can get back to making a mess! Hope you are all having a wonderful day! More updates soon hopefully.

Mini Album Madness!

Finally! Finished and posted my mini album! This is the album i have been working on off and on for months, I love the way it turned out, and I hope everyone else will to! The Prima paper was so beautiful that it didn't call for much embellishing, and the colors are wonderful... They're both Shabby and vintage yet perfect!!

Thursday's Thoughts:

Just a quick update to what I've been up to...

• Moving and reorganizing my entire craft room (still not finished, i'll post a pic when it's organized!)
• Making bigger messes than i had to begin with!
• Organized all of my new unmounted stamps in a binder (:-D) (no more hunting!!)
• Made it to day 11 so far of 30 days of "real food" (no frozen foods for my hubby this month! Yes i'm cooking is foods for lunch the night before because i love him!)
• Dreaming up new project ideas for once i get my room re-organized
• and last but not least preparing to dog sit over the weekend (not really looking forward to this one, as it's 2 Lg VERY energetic dogs in a 3rd floor apt, all stairs! Hopefully they won't drag me down them!)

Oh and looking forward to Yard sales with my buddy next Thursday when they do the city-wide yard sales!!! Hopefully it won't rain!

Wacky Wednesday Mail Art

Mail Art and Mayham

Hello All! 

I hope you're all having a great day! Today's mail art was inspired by this awful heat (and humidity even though the desert isn't humid) Every time i go outside i feel like melting! I apologize for not scanning this in do you can see it perfectly, but My scanner/printer isn't working... I'm wondering if the lightning might have gotten it the other night...  I'll make the hubby look at it tonight... Also the matching stamps may be used on it when i send it out so they are a preview of what will go with it! : D

Furever in my heart

A Very sad day in my home today. I lost my best friend. He was around 16 years old, but healthy. he was fine when we went to bed at 1:30 am, then my dog woke us up to tell us at 6:30am-ish am and he was doing awful... We took him to the vet as soon as they opened and they said he had a stroke, and sadly he passed while we were at the vets office... We will miss him greatly!

On a better note i received some much needed happy mail today, and i will try to post a photo soon!

First thank you to all of those who fight, and have fought to defend our freedom!

Last night I created a fun vintage style stamped tag to hopefully give everyone a little independence day inspiration. I hope you all enjoy!

 

For this tag i used the Tim Holtz distress ink in: Frayed Burlap, Walnut Stain, Chipped Sapphire, and Fired Brick. The truck stamp is also by Tim Holtz, the flag, stars, fire works, and freedom stamp is by Cloud9 designs. (I'm not sure what brand the background word stamp or the 2 charms are.)

 (I also created this fun Asian style piece of mail art)

Here we go everyone, a 2nd sneak peak of the mini album with some of its embellishments!!

 And a special Thank you to my WONDERFUL hubby for going to the craft store for me after he got off work to pick up some supplies for me so that i can work on finishing this albums cover tomorrow! 

(hopefully will have it finished and posted by Wednesday or Thursday)
