Forever Loved

Today I wanted to share a tag I made in Honor of my Grandmother.

This stamp looks just like my grandmother when she was younger, She was a beautiful woman both inside and out!

She just passed away Saturday 11-16-2013 at about 7:15pm which is why the top clock is set to 7:15 and the crackle is supposed to symbolize the moment time stood still. (I used white Gel pen to cover the time originally on the clock, and microns to crate the new clock hands)

 

My Grandmother was an amazing Godly Woman, and I am so blessed to have had all of the time with her that I did. She will be missed, but she's no longer in pain and I thank God for that.

Today I just want to post a quick tag that I made in honor of my grandmother.

Viva Las VegaStamps! DT Tryout

Ok, as many of you know this is a very exciting moment for me! 

It's Finally the time I've been waiting for, for the last 5 1/2 months... Yes, It's time for the Viva Las VegaStamps! DT tryouts!!!

Ok, I'm not exactly sure where to start... 

First, I should say I am completely blaming my friend Mary Margaret whom introduced me, and gave me my 1st lb of VLVS rubber, yes needless to say I was addicted! I love the variety and and playfulness of their stamps! I probably shouldn't admit i'm up to 6+ lb's of rubber..(though I've shared them too...of course!)

I've had a really hard time trying to decide what 3 pieces most define my style...

I have such a wide range of styles and interests, and I can adapt to most any challenge requested of me, and some days am inspired by some of the most random things!

Ok, so here they are, my 3 pieces... I hope you all enjoy!

I went with a Tim Holtz/Vintage feel but chose to challenge myself to use only Viva Las VegaStamps! (Which really wasn't much of a challenge since they have so many amazing images & sayings!!)
 As I'm sure you probably guessed I am loving my new vintage camera man stamp!
