Encourage your hopes

 Hello again my crafty friends!!!

It's that time again! Time for a new challenge on the Funkie and Frilly challenge blog!

I'm sorry I didn't get step by steps on this one, but I did take some detail shots. This was a crazy week, almost didn't even get this done to share, so hope you enjoy it!

To create this piece I used paper from the stamperia paper pad "Romantic Collection" and the cracked base paper is from Tim Holtz newer "backdrops" volume 1 papers.

I inked around the edges with distress ink (walnut stain). The splatters were created with distress spray stain in speckled egg. I also used this to stain the lace created with Tim Holtz "crochet" die. Agai. Speckled egg psint to color the main part of my paper dolls.

I hand made the flowers years and years ago for a project and never used them, so to make them match this I added a bit of grunge but straying them with distress stains (speckled egg, antique linen, and old paper).

Behind the girls is one of Tim Holtz really old "industrious stickers". I have been hoarding for way too long!

I added a few bits of Tim Holtz washi tape to add a little Typography...you can see it peeking out from under the idea-ology word band. The ribbon was actually reused from my recent purchase from The Funkie Junkie boutique. It was tied around one of my packages.

The "stencil marker" is also an older idea-ology piece. (Can you spy any more hidden washi?)

To purchase the papers, inks, stains, paper dolls, glue and other cool idea-ology products like I used be sure to check out

Things with wings

 Hello Again Crafty Friends!

It's that time again! Time for a new Funkie Junkie Boutique Challenge

The theme is all about "Frilly Things" for this one

Check out the challenge details HERE if you want to play along.

I created a cute little matchbox using the older retired version of Tim's matchbox die. He said the New one is the same size if you are wanting to recreate this.

I used the pale pink Kraft paper from Tim Holtz pack of neutrals... I know it doesn't photograph as pink, but it looks pink to me in real life.

I added the lace die cut from Tim Holtz crochet die set.  If you've been by my blog recently, then you know I had to use more wings and a Pen Nib. I also, added one of the retired Tim Holtz Hitch Fasteners ad a drawer pull.

Products Used:
Collage Medium (my go to glue along with glossy accents)
Tim Holtz Crochet die
Ideology pen nib (they no longer sell the one I used, but this has one)
Kraft Core Paper (the pink is in the neutrals)
