Zappy Dots BIG reveal!

Here we go, It's the time we've all been waiting for...
It's time to reveal my 1st Zappy Dots Design team project!

Looking for that perfect way to store your vacation souvenirs?

Here you have it This adorable storage system with matching Zappy Dot drawer pulls is the perfect piece to store all of your sea shells and memorabilia!

For my project I mixed two lovely sets of Zappy Dots Nautical flair buttons:
*Vintage Sailor
*Vintage Nautical

Other supplies:
*Dark Brown card stock
* K & Company - Travel Collection 12x12 paper
* Glossy accents (or your favorite adhesive)
* Yarn
* Buttons
* I used the 3d lori whitlock 5 drawer organizer box cutting file on my Silhouette Cameo
(If you don't have an electronic cutting machine you can find some wonderful boxes like this made of wood at your local craft and hobby store. I have seen similar items at stores such as Crafts 2000, Hobby Lobby, and even some Joann's. You could also look at yard sales and second hand shops also.

Ok, now for the fun part...

How to turn your flair buttons into drawer pulls in 5 easy steps!

Step 1. Select your favorite flair buttons (one for each drawer pull needed), yarn, and 1 button for each flair button.

Step 2. Cut strips of yarn and thread through each button (see photo bellow)

Step 3. Fill inside of flair button with glossy accents (or your desired wet glue)

Step 4. Gently place your button with yarn threaded through into the glue (let dry over night)

Step 5.  Feed the yarn through the holes in your boxes and tie a knot. (you may cut yarn shorter at this point. See photo below for what they look like finished.)

Enjoy your new piece of art!!
