Tags and Tabs

 Hello Again Crafty Friends!

Been working on some super fun field guide/entomology style tags...
But not just any tags... pocket tags!!!

(I got the inspiration from another blogger HERE

To create my pocket tags I created my own cut file in brother canvas workspace (for the scanNcut machine). You can easily do this with dies or punches too.

I used paper from graphic 45 (Natures sketchbook), some Tim Holtz remnant rubs, Tim Holtz tiny clips, and some Tim Holtz ephemera and snippets... I used a few other bits I could find in my stash.

(Also I made these before my sewing machine broke... so hopefully I'll get to make some more soon. I just love that the stitching adds that extra something... Although I found that stitching the inner tag does make it harder to slide in and out... In the future I may just use my stitching stamps on the inner tags)

Enjoy the detail pictures below.

Thank you for visiting!!

Stay Crafty!

  2. These pocket tags are pretty cool! I like how you’ve highlighted the windows with stitching and scribbling. In general the stamped stitching and real stitching add great interest. I’m working on tag greetings for birthday gifts instead of cards. I think these would be fun for my project with a birthday theme. I’m going to Pin these to remember.
