Tags and Tabs

 Hello Again Crafty Friends!

Been working on some super fun field guide/entomology style tags...
But not just any tags... pocket tags!!!

(I got the inspiration from another blogger HERE)

To create my pocket tags I created my own cut file in brother canvas workspace (for the scanNcut machine). You can easily do this with dies or punches too.

I used paper from graphic 45 (Natures sketchbook), some Tim Holtz remnant rubs, Tim Holtz tiny clips, and some Tim Holtz ephemera and snippets... I used a few other bits I could find in my stash.

(Also I made these before my sewing machine broke... so hopefully I'll get to make some more soon. I just love that the stitching adds that extra something... Although I found that stitching the inner tag does make it harder to slide in and out... In the future I may just use my stitching stamps on the inner tags)

Enjoy the detail pictures below.

Thank you for visiting!!

Stay Crafty!

Victorian Mail Art Post Card

Wow, It's been a while since I've shared a piece that I've made not for my design team....
So today I have a Victorian Postcard that I created for a swap on Facebook.

(I did of course still use Viva Las VegaStamps, and I combined them with some fun Graphic 45)

Ok, I hope I enjoy this piece as much as I do, I plan on doing a video tutorial soon  :)

WOYWW #221

Hello Everyone!

Wow its Wednesday again already!?
Don't know why i'm showing you my mess? Hop over to Julia's to read more about our world wide tour of work desks every Wednesday.

Well my mess is still huge, everywhere and growing! I've had a busy week and it's only going to get worse! I go back to school Friday ...not looking forward to all day long micro-biology... But who knows I may love it.
I'm still working on some custom order mini albums and have other orders to start.

Here is a close up of the tags (these are also all spoken for after having made the pink one a while ago i knew i had to make some other fun colors)

Another mess I'm working on is this layout... Hope to finish it soon!

I have been playing some more with my Silhouette Cameo this week and created the box below

I also made some texture  paste, which you can see i tried out below

Quick Craft

Ok, so I bought some of the Graphic 45 boarders to the Halloween in wonderland collection, and wanted to play with them, so I decided to do a quick project, and alter a small box I had just purchased. I started by painting the entire thing black, and then the boarders did all of the work for me! I did some fussy cutting for a few of the pieces, and the diamond pattern on the top of the box is actually a scrap from a sheet of paper fro one of their other lines (can't remember witch one).

Anyhow I think it turned out super cute! Now to decide what to put in it, or if I'm going to use it for a gift for a friend? Hmm tough decisions!

I may also add a clear glass knob/handle to the top... What do you all think?

Have a wonderful night All!

ATC's made for a use what your sent swap

Here are the ATC's I created for a swap on swap-bot where you are to use the items that your partner sends to you to create a set of 2 ATC's. The idea is that you aren't supposed to try to use only what they set for the main elements. The only thing i added was clear embossing, foam tape, Tim Holtz distress crackle and some liquid pearls.
I hope you all Enjoy these 3D ATC's

Thank you all for stopping by, and don't forget to leave a comment to say hey!
